I like long walks on the beach, sunsets and … just kidding. I do like
a good beach stroll, though. And after this weird winter-ish
blast—which magically disappears mid-afternoon and then returns at
night—I’m happy to be back on the beach with kiddo in tow. But as much
as I love the beach, that’s how much I hate the ocean. For some reason,
my family let me watch a Jaws marathon once when we were on
vacation in Destin, Florida (that’s lower Alabama for those of you who
haven’t ventured there). There I sat, watching the great white rip
innocent swimmers limb from limb. Afterward, someone from the group shut
off the TV and said, “OK, let’s hit the beach.” My first thought: Are
you kidding me? I couldn’t even get in the pool without eyeballing the
deep end, fully expecting a fin to surface at any second. Two decades
later and little’s changed. Anytime I think about going further than
ankle deep, the dah-dum, dah-dum track cues up in my brain and I get my
ship back to shore. The way I see it, they need fodder for shark week
and as long as I stay out of the water, it won’t be me. Besides, my Kaanas espadrilles are too cute for me to go missing

Guy Ritchie‘s fiancé Jacqui Ainsley stepped out with their son Rafael,
20 months, and their 6-month-old daughter in Beverly Hills, Calif. on
Monday (May 20). This marks the first time we’ve spotted their baby
girl. She’s adorable! Guy and Jacqui have remained mum on their daughter’s name. “We can confirm that Guy and Jacqui are the proud parents of a new
baby girl. Mother and baby are doing well,” his rep said in November.
This will be the second marriage for the Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows director. He is already dad to sons Rocco, 12, and David, 7, with his ex-wife, Queen of Pop Madonna. The director and the Material Mom, 54, divorced in 2008 after eight years together.
Jenny McCarthy criticized for vaccination beliefs on Twitter

An innocuous question Jenny McCarthy posted on Twitter took an
unexpected turn when she was barraged with criticism regarding her views
on vaccination, Us Weely reports. “What is the most important personality trait you for in a mate?
Reply using #JennyAsks,” "The View" co-host asked her 1.3 million
Twitter followers. “Somebody who gets that refusing vaccines because of ‘toxins’ and
then shilling for e-cigs makes you a pathetic hypocrite,” wrote one
person while another added, “Someone who doesn’t spread false info
causing disease.”
Some of the tweets were barbed but funny, “Someone who think vaccines
are safe, Botox is poisonous and who doesn’t pick their nose and eat it
on MTV," wrote one. McCarthy, whose 11-year-old son Evan was diagnosed with autism in
2005 has been outspoken in her belief that vaccines are linked to autism
in children. In a 2008 appearance on Larry King, McCarthy said, “Isn’t
it ironic, in 1983 there were 10 shots and now there’s 36 and the rise
of autism happened at the same time?” She also pleaded for mercury and
“toxins” in vaccines to be removed during the interview. McCarthy is not the only celebrity to believe there is a link.
Kristin Cavallari, who is pregnant with her second child, recently
revealed to Fox Business that she and her husband Jay Cutler have not
vaccinated their son Camden, 18 months.
She also received a barrage of nasty comments last January when a
false report swirled that her son doesn’t have autism. She shot back
calling the rumors, “blatantly inaccurate and completely ridiculous,” on
her Twitter account.
The 41-year-old responded to her critics on Monday, writing "Thank you
to all the haters who tweet my name. You make my Q SCORE higher and
higher. It's because of you I continue to work. Thank you!
ABC Jenny McCarthy Joins 'The View' And Instantly Sparks Outrage
On
Monday morning, Jenny McCarthy was officially named the new co-host of
"The View." By Monday afternoon, she could unofficially be called the
series' most controversial addition yet. McCarthy's got an unusual
resume for a mainstream talk show host: Playboy Playmate, MTV game show host,
parody film star, parenting author, and one of the biggest public
opponents of childhood vaccines. It's that last line on her C.V. that's
sparking the outrage bubbling up on social media after Monday's
announcement.
"Sickened that @theviewtv is going to give anti-vaccination zealot Jenny McCarthy a bigger platform," tweeted Feminist author Jessica Valenti.
"ABC
and the View should be ashamed of themselves. Jenny McCarthy deserves
to be on some History conspiracy show, not network television," tweeted The Guardian's Harry Enten.
"The View? I for one am immune to her charms," culture critic Mo Rocca quipped, pun intended.
Comedian and TV writer Julie Klausner,
meanwhile, imagined the boardroom decision transpiring as follows:
"Hmm. Child killers, child killers. Is John Wayne Gacy...? Not female.
Susan Smith? Out of the demo. Ooh! Jenny McCarthy!" — The View casting"
So McCarthy wasn't everyone's first choice to join the rotating roundtable of opinions. After co-hosts Joy Behar and Elizabeth Hasselback
left for new, rounder tables at the end of this season, the show needed
some new fire-starters, and possibly, some more carriers of
foot-in-mouth disease. If there's any surefire way to keep viewers
attentive, it's through outrage.
In "The View's" hall of fame
there's Sherri Shepherd's take on the shape of the world (it's flat),
Starr Jones' wedding, Whoopi Goldberg's defense of Mel Gibson, and
Hasselback's repeated run-ins with public opinion. They've all
contributed to the fact that we still care about an old show's new
co-host, after so many have come and gone. (Remember Rosie? And what
about the great search for Lisa Ling?)
The secret formula for the
show's success borrows from "American Idol": watching a train-wreck
moment is part of the fun, especially when they merit a verbal
punishment from Walters—aka, daytime's Simon Cowell.
Walters' on-camera announcement
suggested McCarthy will provide plenty more opportunities for both. "She
can be serious and outrageous," said Walters, carefully pointing to McCarthy's "fresh point of view."
That view includes the assertion that vaccinations triggered her
child's autism, and that vaccinating children to prevent infectious
diseases causes more harm than good. Needless to say, her views aren't
favored by the medical community, or by writers, like Slate's Phil Plait, who recently asked readers to campaign against McCarthy's new gig.
"McCarthy’s views constitute, in my opinion, a threat to public
health," writes Plait. "And even if she doesn’t talk about any of her
nonsensical health ideas on the show, the very fact that she now has
this co-host position gives her a tacit credibility to the viewer."
But not everyone's
taking McCarthy's new role so seriously. After Walters made her on-air
announcement today, exiting co-host Behar sent a congratulatory tweet to
McCarthy, with a warning. "Congrats @JennyMcCarthy on your new gig at @theviewtv. Watch out for Barbara's wandering hands!"

Sorry, but you’ll just have to get by with all the topless pics she
posts online for free. Apparently Abraham tried to get Playboy to hire
her for a photo shoot, but they passed. Twice. According to TMZ — Sources tell us,
the star of “Backdoor Teen Mom” reached out to the men’s magazine
following her sex tape release about appearing fully nude in an upcoming
issue … one of her lifelong dreams. But the mag said no way, hoe-sé.
That didn’t stop Farrah from trying one more time though — we’re told
she reached out again last month … and the magazine shot back with a
SECOND NO, saying they just didn’t have enough room for her.

is a tanned, platinum-blond Playboy Model from Southern California who
refers to Olive Garden as "my soul food." Which would seem to be exactly
the sort of culinary embrace that one would expect from Hugh Hefner's
live-in girlfriend, no? It's really quite a revealing bit of Americana.
But Olive Garden itself wants to cater exclusively to waddling
suburbanites, and fears that Wilkinson's sexy sexual sexuality will,
somehow, scare away the clean customers. But why?
One official says the company has tried to walk a fine
line with its response, maintaining the chain's wholesome image without
alienating potential customers. "I don't feel comfortable talking about
this...because it is a complicated issue for the brand," says Michele
Kay, executive vice president of WPP Group's Grey advertising firm,
which handles the Olive Garden account.
The purported issue here is whether companies should embrace "rogue"
famous fans, even if they're as disreputable as-the two examples
actually used-a Playboy model or a rapper. In other words: how does
corporate America deal with blacks and loose women? Olive Garden, of
course, is foolish. A blond Playboy model perfectly embodies their
outward deliciousness and inner emptiness. Don't let her defect to
Applebee's, you fools.

started and would sign the agreement and NDA I sent over and pay me
immediately because she would be off to school that following Monday. I
went ahead and began work and immediately reached out to several
companies for her to endorse her own lines, and worked MANY hours
updating her website and communicating with her back and forth. She then

More, we’ve got to applaud the trio of babes for having the guts to
sport bikinis with gusto (never an easy task, right?) and the forward
thinking mag for representing different body types on their cover.
But based on these behind the scenes candids from the on location shoot,
it looks as if though someone took some liberties with their
retouching. Of course, it could just be really, really good lighting —
but Brooklyn especially looks a little different than the image that
catapulted her to the cover of Sports Illustrated. And you know what? That’s really, really nice to see. On finding her place in the industry, Decker told Glamour, “I got
successful once I accepted I’m athletic, I have boobs. I set my own
standard.” New mom Alessandra Ambrosio told the
magazine, “You see the transformation of a young woman to a [mom].
People relate.” (Sure… people like Gisele maybe.) And speaking out about
her own body and diversity in the industry, plus-size model Crystal
said, “Women will accept themselves when they see more [body]
types….This is the new normal.” We’ll give you that it’s closer to normal. But as a reminder
of what normal actually looks like in its harsh lighting and non-body
elongating poses, we think it’s always helpful to see the real,
unadulterated versions — in all their natural beauty.
So this lame conservative website made a list of
the 20 hottest conservative women in new media. In it they listed a
bunch of women that we KNOW are not conservatives and BOY were we
pissed! Listen conservatives, we know you like to think that libertarians are
your dorky little retarded cousins or something, but we’re not. We are

Pretty much. She’s also wicked smart, but unfortunately you don’t get to
see her hardcore libertarian side that much because Fox kind of keeps
her talking about the issues that conservatives agree with. Lately she’s
been shaking it up though, and doing some videos over at PJTV where she’s letting her libertarian freak flag fly a little bit. It’s nice to see. And so is she, of course. #15. Katie Kieffer Katie made the list of conservative women but we know she belongs
here because she is very anti-war and pro personal liberty. Hands off
conservatives. The power of Hayek compels you! #14. Jaclyn Boudreau You don’t know her. Well now you do. And you will know her. We heard
she works over at IHS, which is where the Koch brothers make little baby
libertarians. This woman is 6′ tall gentlemen, so screw your courage to
the sticking place if you ever think you’ll have a chance.
#13. Ashley Edwards You don’t know her either because she’s always been sort of behind
the scenes in the liberty movement. Ashley is the woman that political
insiders call when they need to get sh*t done. She did some work for
Laura Ingraham and the Leadership Institute. Now she’s freelancing and
gearing up to help out in some congressional races across the country. #12. Cathy Reisenwitz Love her or hate her, you cannot deny that Ms. Reisenwitz is one hell
of a beautiful woman. Maybe it’s that IDGAF attitude? You gotta respect
someone who speaks their mind even if you disagree. She’s very, very
pretty. No h8 plz. Cathy writes at her blog Sex and the State here and also at Young Voices Advocates. #11. Kristin Tate Yeah, we’re pretty sure she’s a libertarian too. She works at
Breitbart but she’s never expressed any hardcore neocon or Santorumish
socially conservative viewpoints that we’ve seen. So suck it
conservatives! She’s ours! And oh LAWDY LAWD is she gorgeous. Like… a
perfect 10. Or maybe a 9.5. Nobody’s perfect after all.
#10. Liberty Girl OK so she sort of came out of nowhere and was first spotted as a Ron
Paul delegate from Texas. Her name is Rachel Bolch Thach and she makes
us feel kinda funny, like when we used to climb the rope in gym class. Now she’s got her own social media following and she’s out there repping liberty at every turn. She’s also got a pretty cool website. But DOWN BOYS she’s married and has beautiful children, so again, you have no chance. Just admire and move along. #9. Patricia Simpson Before you open that big stupid mouth of yours about her weight or
something you better check yourself before you wreck yourself. Patricia
Simpson is a BEAUTIFUL woman. If you ever met you would fall in love.
She’s got gorgeous eyes and a killer smile. Her lipstick is always so
pretty and let me tell you her personality will make your heart race.
Peppermint Patty deserves to be on this list. She would rock your world. #8. Lenore Hawkins You don’t know Lenore? Jeez she was like a STAPLE on Judge Andrew
Napolitano’s FreedomWatch on the Fox Business Network. Oh you didn’t get
Fox Business? Neither did I. Well anyway, she’s a super hot lady who is
a contributor to TheStreet.com and a founding partner at Meritas
Advisors. She also loves liberty and the free market. The smart girls
are always so much hotter. #7. Maureen Fallon Who is this woman? Where did she come from? Why is she just now all
into Ron Paul when the rest of us were on it like in 2008? No one knows
who this mysterious chick is, but all of us are talking about her. Some
say she’s a myth, that she doesn’t exist. Some people think she’s a CIA
honeypot, meant to ensnare libertarian men into falling in love and
turning over their intimate secrets to stop us from taking over the
government one day. One thing’s for sure though, if she does exist,
she’s smokin’ hot and someone to keep an eye on. #6. Lindsey Bolton She’s a lawyer from Louisiana and if you mess with her she will kick…
your… ASS! Seriously, she’s tough as nails and she doesn’t take sh*t
from anyone. But if you do happen to get on her good side, which is not
easy, you are in for a treat. This Southern Belle will break your heart
with her sly charm and cunning linguistics. She’s also a tax lawyer so
she could help you kick the federal government’s big fat butt in court. #5. Whitney Davis She’s frequently posting radical stuff on Facebook and she’s always
out there doing battle with minarchists, reppin’ hardcore
anarchocapitalism every chance she gets. Whitney Davis does a lot of
outreach for Young Americans for Liberty and right now she lives in Los
Angeles and studies electrical engineering. Shocked? Don’t be. She’s
wicked smart and hella beautiful. #4. Corey Hubbard Corey is the wicked temptress of the liberty movement. She’s
everywhere and nowhere at once. Now you see her, now you don’t. One
minute she’s in Paris, the next minute she’s at an End the Fed rally.
Today she’s at a wedding in the UK, but tomorrow she’ll be riding
entourage in Senator Rand Paul’s limo. If you don’t know Corey Hubbard,
you’re probably not that active in the liberty movement, because Corey
knows everyone and everyone who’s anyone knows her. #3. Whitney Neal This badass single mama works at FreedomWorks and she’s responsible
for all the Tea Party grassroots coordination that goes on there. This
titan from Texas is sweeter than sugar and she’s got a super positive
attitude that you’re sure to take a shine to if you ever meet her in
real life. #2. Emily O’Neil Oh woman of our dreams. Ms Emily O’Neil. She wandered into our hearts
a few years ago to campaign for Ron Paul in New Hampshire. She serves
in the National Guard and is currently out doing consulting work. Word
on the street is that she will return when her country needs her most
in 2016 if Rand Paul runs for president.

Monday morning, Jenny McCarthy was officially named the new co-host of
"The View." By Monday afternoon, she could unofficially be called the
series' most controversial addition yet. McCarthy's got an unusual
resume for a mainstream talk show host: Playboy Playmate, MTV game show host,
parody film star, parenting author, and one of the biggest public
opponents of childhood vaccines. It's that last line on her C.V. that's
sparking the outrage bubbling up on social media after Monday's
announcement.
