critique the moderators, who, by my cursory glance did a terrible job,
and once again Megyn Kelly, or News-Barbie, as we like to call her,
tries a gotcha question right off the bat, taking aim at Trump as the
womanizing general in the fictitious war on women.
Would love to hear some studio out-takes of News-Barbie Megyn Kelly and
see what kind of language she lets fly at the hired help.
The
debate did no damage to Trump, in fact he tended to make everybody else
on the stage appear that much smaller by comparison.

Sahara. Ted Cruz was essentially ignored. Scott Walker, did he get any
significant time? John Kasich...why was he there again?? Ben Carson,
please stop whispering or speaking in diminutive, hushed tones. Belt it

But the good news is that at least it was sustainable fair trade carbon neutral corruption. John Ashe, the UN General Assembly president, has been busted on corruption charges.
A former president of the U.N. General Assembly "sold himself and the
global institution he led" by allegedly pocketing more than $1 million
in bribes to finance a luxury spending spree, according to a federal
prosecutor. Ashe, 61, is accused of tax fraud in an alleged
conspiracy involving five others, including a billionaire Chinese
businessman and a former deputy U.N. ambassador from the Dominican
Republic, according to a criminal complaint. Ashe is accused of underreporting his income by more than $1.2 million, prosecutors said.
U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon was "shocked and deeply troubled"
by the allegations, which he said struck at "the heart of the integrity
of the United Nations," according to spokesman Stephane Dujarric.
What integrity? Has Ban forgotten Kofi Annan and his family? The UN is deeply corrupt.
But while the media continues to claim that Ashe was a minor figure
occupying a ceremonial post, they're carefully skipping over his
Warmunist work.
Mr. Ashe has served in a
leadership capacity on many of the governing bodies of major United
Nations environmental agreements. He was the first Chairman of the
Executive Board of the Clean Development Mechanism of the Kyoto Protocol
to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change. He also
chaired the Convention’s Subsidiary Body on Implementation, and, most
recently, the Ad Hoc Working Group on Further Commitments for Annex I
Parties under the Kyoto Protocol. Known for his abilities as
a mediator, Mr. Ashe successfully led negotiations that resulted in
Chapter X of the Johannesburg Plan of Implementation at the 2002 World
Summit on Sustainable Development, and co-chaired the United Nations
Conference on Sustainable Development (Rio+20) in 2012. In 2004, he
presided over the thirteenth session of the United Nations Commission on
Sustainable Development, the body responsible for reviewing programmes
on the implementation of Agenda 21, the blueprint for rethinking
economic growth, advancing social equity and ensuring environmental
protection.

ASHE also then began soliciting additional payments
from LORENZO to pay for the installation of a private basketball court
at ASHE’s house in Westchester County. In addition to agreeing to pay
for ASHE’s family vacation and basketball court, LORENZO began paying
ASHE’s wife, as a “climate change consultant” for NGO-1, in the amount
of $2,500 per month
Climate change consultant is itself a scam profession. There is no such thing. Ashe's wife, Anilla Cherian, is officially listed as an "environmentalist". Here's their wedding writeup.
The bridegroom is his country's chief environmental negotiator. He
also represents 16 Caribbean countries on the Council of the Global
Environment Facility, a Washington-based organization that provides
funds for international programs to prevent global warming.... The
couple met in 1994 in Nairobi at the Conference of the Parties to the
Convention on Biological Diversity.

No one believed Porter Stansberry seven years ago. As head of one of America’s largest independent financial research
firms, Mr. Stansberry’s work back in 2008 led him to a bold, but
worrisome, conclusion: That the world’s largest mortgage bankers–Fannie
Mae and Freddie Mac, which at the time were responsible for nearly 50%
of all the mortgages in America–would soon go bankrupt.
In fact, in June of 2008, while their stock prices were still trading
at well over $20 per share, Stansberry published a report to his
customers titled: “Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac Are Going to Zero.” Inside this report, Stansberry explained:
“For those of you who don’t work in the financial
industry, it might be hard for you to immediately grasp what’s so
dangerous about the extreme amount of leverage employed by Fannie Mae
and Freddie Mac. Let me explain exactly what Fannie and Freddie do and
why they’re in so much jeopardy…”
We all know what happened next. Both agencies went bust—and if not
for a bailout from the Federal Government, both would have declared
bankruptcy. Barron’s—America’s second biggest financial newspaper—even
wrote a story about Mr. Stansberry’s accurate prediction short, and
called it “remarkably prescient.” Over the years, Mr. Stansberry has made a name for himself by
accurately predicting the biggest and most important collapses in
America. A few of the others he’s accurately identified well in advance
include: General Motors, General Growth Property (America’s biggest mall
owner), D.R. Horton (a homebuilder), and Gannett newspapers, to name
just a few. Stansberry also predicted the recent collapse of oil and natural gas
prices as early as 2010, when he wrote a report titled: “Peak Oil is a
Flat Lie.” Well, now Mr. Stansberry has issued another fascinating warning, about a new and looming bankruptcy.
“No one believed me years ago when I said the world’s largest mortgage bankers would soon go bankrupt.
And no one believed me when I said GM would fall apart… or that the same would happen to General Growth Properties.
But that’s exactly what happened.”
And, he says, that brings us today… Stansberry says the next big bankruptcy in America will be
even bigger than those he’s identified in the past. In fact, he says
this looming bankruptcy will threaten your way of life, whether you own
any investments related to it or not. This collapse, says Stansberry, will change everything about our
normal way of life: where you vacation… where you send your kids or
grandkids to school… how and where you shop… the way you protect your

Pope Francis seeks Obama while the Christian World Seeks the Lord
Seemingly
completely unaware that it doesn’t work that way, Catholic bishops are
doing their best to get parishioners to install a lib-left government
in the October 19, Canadian federal election, through the Sunday pulpit. Churches
in Canada are heading into their third in a 4-week Election Guide
message replacing the Gospel of Jesus Christ this Sunday.
Bishops and priests who believe that
parishioners will vote Lib-left just because “Father told me to” are
not just gamboling lamb-like out in left field, but are, in every sense
of the phrase, “over the hill”. Saving souls has tumbled all the way down hill to advice in how to mark the election ballot.
The
Bishops’ advice, which comes complete with a take-home, social
justice-pushing Development and Peace brochure, is centered around a
“Just Society” theme. But subliminal works much better on Reality TV
than it does in church. Just like those little boys who return home
from farmer’s fields, pockets bulging with stolen apples, the bishops
carry tell-tale evidence with them. It should come as no surprise that The ‘Just Society’s’ chosen candidate is Liberal Leader JUSTin Trudeau. Earth
to politicking Bishops: parishioners, just like bishops and priests,
don’t always tell other folk what they’re really up to. Parishioners,
who are alone when they’re in the election booth, will vote for
whomever they think will best serve their country.
Is
the Vatican really blissfully unaware that the pope is becoming more
politically correct every day; that his open support of global warming
has already been interpreted as ‘Vote Liberal’ in Canada? The
latest PC move sees Francis advising Catholics to provide shelter for
the refugees fleeing Syria, with no warning that in doing so they might
be inviting danger into their homes. It turns out that what the
mainstream media describes as ‘refugees’ are jihadists determined to
expand their caliphate by overwhelming borders. In any case, the
Almighty would certainly disapprove of the pontiff’s boast of taking two
immigrant families into the tiny part of the Vatican he shares. God
does not wish for any doer of charitable works to advertise them, but to
keep them between themselves and Him. People are uneasy about the
pope’s upcoming visit to America, and through New York Cardinal
Timothy Dolan we hear the pontiff himself admits he’s a tad nervous
about it.: “He’s a little nervous about coming,” Cardinal Dolan
said at an interfaith event in New York in May. “Not that he lacks any
confidence in the reception of friendship that he knows he’ll get, but
he readily admits he has never been to the United States.” (New York Times, Sept. 5, 2015)
“Those
who have known Francis, both before and after he became pope, say the
reasons for his absence have everything to do with his distinctive
identity. He is a Latin American critical of the United States’ economic
and political hegemony, a Jesuit of Italian ancestry who looks more to
Europe than to North America, a Spanish speaker who is not all that
comfortable speaking English, and a pastor who disdains “airport
bishops” — his term for prelates who spend more time jetting around the
globe than serving in their dioceses. “He is not opposed to all
America represents. But he is troubled by privileged people and nations
that consume more than their share and turn their backs on the
vulnerable. The message he will probably deliver when he comes, they
say, is that the United States has been blessed with great gifts, but
that from those to whom much is given, much is expected.”
The Pope’s not “opposed to all America represents”, but Obama to whom the pope is coming to pay homage, is. If the pontiff is “a little nervous about coming” to America, perhaps he should listen to his inner voice and stay home. Americans,
and westerners in general, need a break from the bitter criticism of
all its detractors, including that of the anti-American president. No good ever came out of Obama. No good comes from the overbearing United Nations. Humanity will not buy into exaggerated man-made global warming alarmism just because it is being espoused by a visiting pope. The
very idea of a pope addressing the United Nations where Gaia and not
Christianity is the religion of favour is enough to send shudders down
the back bones of people of faith. From the lips of people of
faith to the Almighty: Please keep Francis in Rome where prayers for
persecuted Christians worldwide are so sorely needed, rather than coming
to the stage to boost Obama and the U.N. before a watching helpless
world. That way, a truth no one wants to hear will never come to
pass: Pope Francis seeks Obama while the Christian world seeks the
Lord.
What Barack Obama Just Announced Will HURT Our Troops and Their Families (DISGRACEFUL!)
As President Barack Obama continues to disrespect our troops while
spreading their efforts throughout the world, he just announced it’s
time to SLASH AND CUT military pay.
Obama has announced he fully accepts the recommendations of a
commission to restructure military benefits, which means a pay cut of
roughly 20% and a less generous retirement:

President Obama said Monday he supports the
recommendations of a military commission that would reduce the size of
traditional military retirement pay by about 20 percent and offer a new
defined-contribution benefit for troops who leave before 20 years of
service. In a letter to congressional leaders, Mr. Obama said the proposals
are “an important step forward in protecting the long-term viability of
the all-volunteer force, improving quality-of-life for service members
and their families, and ensuring the fiscal sustainability of the
military compensation and retirement systems.” Mr. Obama said he has directed his advisers to refine some
recommendations, and that the White House will report to Congress on any
proposed changes by April 30. The Military Compensation and Retirement Modernization Commission
issued a report in January report calling for shrinking the size of
traditional military retirement pay by about 20 percent and offering a
defined-contribution benefit for troops who separate before 20 years of
service. Lawmakers of both parties raised sharp questions about the
panel’s stated belief that the changes will satisfy service members
while also saving money for the Treasury. The commission’s proposal include decreasing the “multiplier” that
the Pentagon uses to calculate traditional retirement pensions from 2.5
to 2.0, lowering the initial value of retirement checks by 20 percent.
The Senate voted Thursday to confirm Loretta Lynch as the next attorney general, with the help of 10 Republicans
who ignored complaints that Lynch would use her new position to support
what many say is President Barack Obama’s unconstitutional immigration
plan. The Senate voted 56–43 in favor of Lynch, approving her with help of Sens.
Kelly Ayotte (N.H.), Thad Cochran (Miss.), Susan Collins (Maine), Jeff
Flake (Ariz.), Lindsey Graham (S.C.), Orrin Hatch (Utah), Ron Johnson
(Wis.), Mark Kirk (Ill.), Rob Portman (R-Ohio) and Senate Majority
Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.).
While Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) was in the Senate earlier in the
day, he was the only member of the chamber not to vote. Cruz had opposed
Lynch. A spokeswoman for Cruz downplayed the missed vote by saying “if the
Senate could get 60 votes for cloture, they could get 51 for final
confirmation.” Cloture was the vote to end debate earlier in the day,
when the Senate voted to end debate on the Lynch nomination by a 66-34 vote.
“Cloture is the only vote that mattered,” Cruz spokeswoman Amanda Carpenter tweeted. Much of the GOP’s opposition to Lynch was due to her support for
Obama’s executive action on immigration. During her confirmation
hearing, Lynch said she believes Obama’s plan was consistent with the
Constitution, drawing outrage from Republicans who have said it’s an
end-run around Congress. Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-Ala.), the most vocal Republican against
Obama’s plan, said the Senate shouldn’t confirm Lynch to be the nation’s
top law enforcement officer given her support for what he has called an
illegal move by Obama.
“The Senate must never confirm an individual to such an office as
this who will support and advance a scheme that violates our
Constitution and eviscerates established law and congressional
authority,” he said Thursday. “No person who would do that should be
confirmed. And we don’t need to be apologetic about it, colleagues.” However, it became clear a few weeks ago that Lynch had just enough GOP support to pass the Senate by a simple majority. The vote followed several months of delay in the Senate, prompting
Democrats to argue that Lynch was the most-delayed attorney general
nominee ever. Republicans argued that it was Democrats who agreed to
start the confirmation process this year, instead of late 2014.
Thank goodness North Carolina isn’t one of the 10.

1. Disregarded 1996 welfare reform law in granting broad work waivers
for work requirements of Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF).
2. Implemented portions of the DREAM Act, which Congress rejected, by executive action. 3. Ended some terror asylum restrictions, by allowing asylum for
people who provided only “insignificant” or “limited” material support
of terrorists. 4. Allowed immigrants in the U.S. illegally, who are relatives of
military troops and veterans, to stay in the country and get legal
status. 5. Extended federal marriage benefits by recognizing, under federal
law, same-sex marriages created in a state that allows same-sex marriage
even if the couple is living in a state that doesn’t recognize same-sex
marriage. 6. Recognized same-sex marriage in Utah, even though the Supreme
Court stayed the court order recognizing same-sex marriage in Utah and
Utah said it would not recognize same-sex marriages performed before the
stay. 7. Refused to prosecute violation of drug laws with certain mandatory minimums. 8. Issued signing statements, refusing to enforce parts of congressional-enacted statutes. 9. Illegally refused to act on Yucca Mountain’s application to become a nuclear waste repository. 10. Falsely portrayed the Benghazi terrorist attack as a spontaneous
protest against an anti-Muslim YouTube video, and then lied about the
White House’s involvement. 11 Illegally revealed the existence of sealed indictments in the Benghazi investigation. 12. Failed to enforce the Magnitsky Act as required by law, by not
adding Russian human rights abusers to a list of people not permitted to
travel to or do business in the U.S. 13. Killed four Americans overseas in counterterrorism operations without judicial process. 14. Continued to give Egypt aid after the military took over its
government, even though federal law prohibits aid to Egypt in the event
of a coup. 15. Granted a “hardship” exemption from the individual mandate for
people whose health plans were canceled because their plans weren’t
Obamacare compliant. 16. Delayed the individual mandate for two years. 17. Allowed individuals to buy health insurance plans in 2014 that
did not comply with Obamacare. Extended this delay until 2016—past the
mid-term elections. 18. Extended the deadline to enroll in Obamacare. 19. Illegally granted businesses a waiver from Obamacare’s employer mandate. Twice.
20. Illegally continued the Obamacare employer contribution for congressional staffs. 21. Illegally delayed the Obamacare caps on out-of-pocket healthcare payments. 22. Illegally delayed Obamacare verification of eligibility for healthcare subsidies. 23. Illegally required people to violate their faith via the Obamacare contraception mandate. 24. As of May 2011, over 50% of Obamacare waiver beneficiaries were
union members (who account for less than 12% of the American work
force). 25. Ordered Boeing to fire 1,000 employees in South Carolina and shut down a new factory because it was non-union. 26. Implemented a moratorium on offshore drilling after the Deepwater
Horizon oil spill without statutory authority, and continued to enact
new versions after federal courts repeatedly invalidated the moratorium. 27. Treated secured creditors worse than unsecured creditors in the Chrysler bankruptcy. 28. Terminated the pensions of 20,000 non-union Delphi employees in the GM bankruptcy. 29. Had SWAT teams raid a Gibson guitar factory and seize property,
on the purported basis that Gibson had broken India’s environmental
laws—but no charges were filed. 30. Government agencies are engaging in “Operation Choke Point,”
where the government asks banks to “choke off” access to financial
services for customers engaging in conduct the Administration does not
like—such as “ammunition sales.” 31. Made illegal “recess” appointments to the Consumer Financial
Protection Bureau and the National Labor Relations Board when Congress
wasn’t in recess. Ignored the rulings of three federal courts of appeals
that held those nominations unconstitutional. 2. 32. Appointed czars to oversee federal policy specifically because
czars do not require Senate confirmation, earning criticism from
stalwart Democrats such as West Virginia Sen. Robert Byrd and Wisconsin

As of 2011, 311,566 federal employees or retirees owed $3.5 billion in taxes. 35. Illegally targeted conservative groups for heightened IRS scrutiny. 36. House Counsel review of all documents to be released under the Freedom
of Information Act that the Administration believed pertained to “White
House equities”—and then delayed in producing many of these documents by

on the National Security Agency’s use of intercepted phone calls and
emails, permitting the NSA to search American’s communications in its
databases.

possible “co-conspirator” in a criminal investigation of a new leak. 40. Secretly obtained phone records from staff at the Associated Press. 41. known as Fast and Furious and then refused to comply with congressional
subpoenas about the operation. 44. Dismissed charges filed by Bush Administration against New Black
Panther Party members who were videotaped intimidating voters at a
Philadelphia polling station during the 2008 election. 45. Argued for expansive federal powers in the Supreme Court, which
has rejected the Administration’s arguments unanimously 9 times since
January 2012. 46. Sued Louisiana to stop school vouchers and keep low-income minorities trapped in failing schools. 47. Threatened to arrest military priests for practicing their faith during the partial government shutdown. 48. Muzzled the speech of military chaplains. 49. Sued fire departments saying their multiple-choice, open-book written employment tests were racially discriminatory. 50. Gave 23,994 tax refunds worth more than $46 million to aliens here illegally using the same address in Atlanta, GA. 51. Released a mentally ill Guantanamo detainee… who had been a high-risk al Qaeda fighter in jihad combat since the 1980s. 52. Backed release of the Lockerbie bomber, Abdel Baset al-Megrahi. 53. President Obama told NASA administrator to “find a way to reach out to the Muslim world.” 54. Claimed the Fort Hood shooting was “workplace violence” rather than terrorism. 55. Signed a stimulus bill that spent money on bonuses for AIG executives, and then acted shocked and outraged at the bonuses. 56. Gave $535 million to Solyndra, which went bankrupt; Solyndra
shareholders and officials made substantial donations to Obama’s
campaign. 57. Reneged on a campaign promise to cut the deficit in half by the end of his first term in office. 58. Increased the national debt more in one term than President Bush did in two terms. 59. Extended mortgage assistance to people who bought multiple homes during the housing bubble. 60. Proposed rules that would have decimated family farms, by prohibiting children under 18 from doing many forms of farm work. 61. Former “safe schools czar” has written about his past drug abuse and advocated promoting homosexuality in schools. 62. Nominated Timothy Geithner—who had significant tax issues —to head the Treasury Department, which enforces tax laws. 63. Reneged on campaign promise to broadcast healthcare reform negotiations on C-SPAN. 64. Reneged on a campaign promise to wait five days before signing
any non-emergency bill (at least 10 times during first 3 months in
office). 65. Unilaterally, increased the minimum wage for federal contract workers from $7.25 to $10.10, via executive order. 66. Cancelled all White House tours after sequestration—purportedly
saving $18,000 per week—even though President Obama had spent more than
$1 million in tax money to golf with Tiger Woods one weekend a few weeks
before. 67. Adopted pro-union “ambush election” rules. 68. Pressured Ford to pull an anti-auto-bailout TV ad. 69. Actively, aided in George Zimmerman protests. 70. Tried to seize a privately owned motel when guests used illegal drugs at the motel. 71. Shut down the Amber Alert website, while keeping up Let’s Move website, during the partial government shutdown. 72. Gave supervised release to a convicted criminal (an alien here illegally) who later killed a nun in a DUI. 73. Shut down an Amish farm for selling fresh unpasteurized milk across state lines. 74. Spent $7 million per household in “stimulus funds” to connect a few Montana households to the Internet. 75. Spent $205,075 in “stimulus” funds to relocate a shrub that sells for $16. 76. Fired an inspector general after investigating an $850,000
AmeriCorps grant received by a nonprofit run by former NBA star and
Obama supporter Kevin Johnson (now mayor of Sacramento).

Obama Nominee to Replace Holder Accused of Cheating Victims Out of 40 Million Dollars
Loretta Lynch, Obama’s choice to replace Eric Holder stands accused
of withholding information from victims of Felix Sater, who ran a pump
and dump stock scheme. Paul Cassell, a professor of law at the
University of Utah. notified senate aides and leaders that they should
be doing an inquiry of Lynch’s handling of the case. The issue has to
do with prospective defendants who turn state’s evidence. Lynch did
have the right to shield Sater from prison time, however she was
obligated to notify Sater’s victims that he had been sentenced, making
them eligible to receive the 40 million he stole from them back. The investigation would reveal that by not notifying the victims,
Sater was able to keep the money he stole and since the sentencing was
secret, his reputation was left intact and made it possible for him to
continue running his money making scams. This is a direct violation of
the Crime Victims Restitution Act. It would also allow a criminal to
profit from his criminal enterprise which is also a violation of the
law. Lynch’s office and the Department of Injustice are claiming that she
did nothing wrong, but failed to explain why Sater was allowed to keep
the 40 million he stole and why victims were denied their rights under
the Crime Victims Restitution Act. Currently, the scurvy republicans in the Senate have not started an
investigation and are seen as being willing dupes for the Obama
administration. Lynch is seen as the continuance of a Holder Justice

Sheriff David Clarke Blasts Obama, Holder, And Sharpton Over the Handling Of Ferguson Situation And Poverty

Kelly on The Kelly File to speak about Attorney General Eric Holder,
President Obama, and Al Sharpton. The sheriff began by unleashing on Holder for his statements when he
threw police officers “under the bus,” suggesting they patrol just
looking to kill black people. “He claims he wants justice for all, but apparently he doesn’t want justice for police officers,” Clarke said. Then the sheriff laid into Obama for his most recent White House
meeting, which Clarke classified as a “Kabuki theater.” Had he attended
the meeting, the sheriff said he would have asked the president why, if
he was so concerned about the anger and unrest in the black community,
he did not take an action that would actually work? “Why do you continue, Mr. President, to support anti-poverty programs
and initiatives that have worsened poverty over the last 50, 60 years…
If you want to do us a favor at the local level, why don’t you issue an
executive order calling for an audit of every anti-poverty agency
initiative in America, and let’s stop propping up this welfare state
that has done nothing more than hook these individuals living in these
American ghettos on the high of handouts?” Megyn Kelly then asked the sheriff about Al Sharpton and if he thought he was a genuine guy. He said he did not, calling Sharpton a “charlatan” and a
“provocateur,” and finished by saying that, while he has a lot of
respect for the office of the president, he would have to question
anyone who took the judgment of Mr. Sharpton seriously. GOP Staffer Apologizes For Lecturing Obama Daughters To 'Show A Little Class'

A Republican staffer on Friday apologized for a Facebook post that criticized Malia and Sasha Obama's appearance at the annual White House turkey pardon ceremony, one of America's silliest holiday traditions.
Elizabeth
Lauten, the communications director for Rep. Stephen Fincher (R-Tenn.),
wrote that the two teenagers should "try showing a little class,"
"dress like you deserve respect, not a spot at a bar," and, most of all,
"don't make faces" at Very Serious public events.
Dear
Sasha and Malia, I get you’re both in those awful teen years, but
you’re a part of the First Family, try showing a little class. At least
respect the part you play. Then again your mother and father don’t
respect their positions very much, or the nation for that matter, so I’m
guessing you’re coming up a little short in the ‘good role model’
department. Nevertheless, stretch yourself. Rise to the occasion. Act
like being in the White House matters to you. Dress like you deserve
respect, not a spot at a bar. And certainly don’t make faces during
televised public events.
The
First Daughters join President Obama at the ceremony every year, where
they can hardly contain their disdain for the lame dad jokes that
predictably follow. Before approaching Mac and Cheese, the two turkeys,
the president remarked that it was "puzzling that I do this every year."
Malia even declined her father's offer to pet one of the pardoned
turkeys with a nonchalant, "Nah."
Lauten later apologized for rushing to judgment on Facebook.
"I
reacted to an article and quickly judged the two young ladies in a way
that I would never have wanted to be judged myself as a teenager," she said.
"After many hours of prayer, talking to my parents and re-reading my
words online, I can see more clearly how hurtful my words were. Please
know that these judgmental feelings truly have no pace in my heart.
Furthermore, I'd like to apologize to all of those who I have hurt and
offended with my words, and pledge to learn and grow (and I assure you I
have) from this experience."

They chose the wrong company. Things happen. What is the federal government doing involved? Had these men been treated differently from the drivers as a whole,
then an inequality would have existed and perhaps the EEOC would have
had a legitimate concern. Treating them the same as all other drivers
only makes them more in compliant with the Equality of Opportunity that
the EEOC is supposed to guarantee. Below is the press release for the government’s action from the EEOC website:
PEORIA, Ill. – Star Transport, Inc., a trucking company
based in Morton, Ill., violated federal law by failing to accommodate
two employees because of their religion, Islam, and discharging them,
the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) charged in a
lawsuit filed today. The lawsuit alleged that Star Transport refused to provide two
employees with an accommodation of their religious beliefs when it
terminated their employment because they refused to deliver alcohol.
According to EEOC District Director John P. Rowe, who supervised
administrative investigation prior to filing the lawsuit, “Our
investigation revealed that Star could have readily avoided assigning
these employees to alcohol delivery without any undue hardship, but
chose to force the issue despite the employees’ Islamic religion.” Failure to accommodate the religious beliefs of employees, when this
can be done without undue hardship, violates Title VII of the Civil
Rights Act of 1964 which prohibits discrimination on the basis of
religion. The EEOC filed suit, (EEOC v. Star Transport, Inc., Civil
Action No. 13 C 01240-JES-BGC, U.S. District Court for the Central
District of Illinois in Peoria, assigned to U.S. District Judge James E.
Shadid), after first attempting to reach a voluntary settlement through
its statutory conciliation process. The agency seeks back pay and
compensatory and punitive damages for the fired truck drivers and an
order barring future discrimination and other relief. John Hendrickson, the EEOC Regional Attorney for the Chicago District
Office said, “Everyone has a right to observe his or her religious
beliefs, and employers don’t get to pick and choose which religions and
which religious practices they will accommodate. If an employer can
reasonably accommodate an employee’s religious practice without an undue
hardship, then it must do so. That is a principle which has been
memorialized in federal employment law for almost50 years, and it is why
EEOC is in this case.” The EEOC’s Chicago District Office is responsible for processing
charges of discrimination, administrative enforcement and the conduct of
agency litigation in Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa and North and
South Dakota, with Area Offices in Milwaukee and Minneapolis.
More accommodation for the special class of Muslims in America, and
