WSRP Chairman Susan Hutchison Honors Patriot Day
BELLEVUE, WA, September 11 – Susan Hutchison, the Chairman of the Washington State Republican Party, issued the following statement:
"On the 14th anniversary of the terrorist attacks in New York,
Washington, D.C. and Pennsylvania, we remember the families of the 2,977
innocent victims who lost their lives that September morning. We also
honor the first responders who courageously rushed in to rescue those
trapped in the World Trade Center before the twin towers collapsed.
Their selfless bravery saved thousands of lives and will forever define
the best of the American character.
"This solemn anniversary is marked today by scenes of half a million
refugees flooding into Europe from the Middle East, forced from their
homeland by the brutal forces of Islamic extremism, Iran-funded
terrorism and ISIS. Seven years of foreign policy led by Hilary Clinton
and Barack Obama with Senate Democrats even now filibustering the
Republican vote on the President’s giveaway nuclear deal to Iran, has
emboldened our sworn enemies who wreak destruction and death for
millions of innocents.
"Now, more than ever, your Republican Party is dedicated to electing
men and women who believe the world is more secure when American might
constrains Evil. Please join with me in the months ahead to achieve
victory and change the world!"
