Joel Osteen Praises Obama as a Christian

There are still self-professed “Christians” who continue to promote the heresies and unbiblical teachings of Joel Osteen and his wife Victoria. Previously, we pointed out how Victoria Osteen said that our worship of God should be done for ourselves. In an interview with Wolf Blitzer, Osteen said that Barack Obama is a Christian. 
Osteen claims that he has been to prayer breakfasts and other event with Barack Obama and heard him express his faith, redmeption and salvation.
“I just believe in my heart that he’s a Christian,” Osteen said. “He says he is.”

“Again, I wouldn’t try and push people away,” Osteen continued. “That’s just the opposite of what we’re supposed to do.”

Now, let’s just rehearse what Obama says his “Christian” faith is composed of, shall we?
In a 2004 interview with Cathleen Falsani, Obama said that he “draw(s) from (his) Christian faith, but then went on to talk about growing up with Eastern influences in Hawaii, Muslim influences in Indonesia, his father being an agnostic while his grandfather was a Muslim, and finishing off claiming that he was mostly influenced by Judaism. However, he claims to be “rooted in the Christian tradition. Let’s see how he stacks up to that “Christian tradition.” Obama told Falsani the following:

• I believe that there are many paths to the same place, and that is a belief that there is a higher power, a belief that we are connected as a people.
• Of responding to an unbiblical “altar call” in Jeremiah Wright’s church, Obama said, “…it was a powerful moment. Because, it was powerful for me because it not only confirmed my faith, it not only gave shape to my faith, but I think, also, allowed me to connect the work I had been pursuing with my faith.
• I’m a big believer in tolerance. I think that religion at its best comes with a big dose of doubt. I’m suspicious of too much certainty in the pursuit of understanding just because I think people are limited in their understanding.
• Jesus is an historical figure for me, and he’s also a bridge between God and man, in the Christian faith, and one that I think is powerful precisely because he serves as that means of us reaching something higher.
• (Jesus) a wonderful teacher. I think it’s important for all of us, of whatever faith, to have teachers in the flesh and also teachers in history.
• I find it hard to believe that my God would consign four-fifths of the world to hell. I can’t imagine that my God would allow some little Hindu kid in India who never interacts with the Christian faith to somehow burn for all eternity. That’s just not part of my religious makeup.
• (Sin is) being out of alignment with my values.
• (If you have sin in your life) if I’m true to myself and my faith that that is its own reward, when I’m not true to it, it’s its own punishment.
• (I find spiritual inspiration in) the black church experience. A good choir and a good sermon in the black church, it’s pretty hard not to be move and be transported. I can be transported by watching a good performance of Hamlet, or reading Toni Morrison’s Song of Solomon, or listening to Miles Davis.
• (Though Obama doesn’t read the Bible like he should (see below)) when I read Gandhi or I read King or I read certain passages of Abraham Lincoln and I think about those times where people’s values are tested, I think those inspire me.
• When I feel most centered, most aligned spiritually is when) I’m being true to myself. And that can happen in me making a speech or it can happen in me playing with my kids, or it can happen in a small interaction with a security guard in a building when I’m recognizing them and exchanging a good word.
• (In referencing his “altar call” experience) It wasn’t an epiphany. It was much more of a gradual process for me. I know there are some people who fall out. Which is wonderful. God bless them. For me it was probably because there is a certain self-consciousness that I possess as somebody with probably too much book learning, and also a very polyglot background.

When asked about prayer and Bible reading, Obama said, “I used to all the time, in a fairly disciplined way. But during the course of this campaign, I don’t. And I probably need to and would like to, but that’s where that internal monologue, or dialogue I think supplants my opportunity to read and reflect in a structured way these days.

Friends, nothing in Obama’s statements are Christian in any sense of the word. They are not biblical concepts of the historic Christian faith at all. Yet, Osteen, who doesn’t promote biblical concepts of the historical Christian faith either supports Obama as a Christian.
As for his job, well we’ve documented how poorly he is doing it, yet, he is doing exactly what he aims to do and that is to destroy America.
However, recall this comes years after Osteen and his wife were interviewed by Larry King and they regurgitated the same nonsense that Osteen said in his interview with Blitzer.
“I think he’s doing a great job,” Osteen said. “I’m impressed of his skill, calmness, his just strength under pressure. I mean these are tough times for him, he got a lot put on his plate. But I’ve been impressed.”
Wow! It doesn’t take a lot to impress Joel Osteen, does it? It takes even less to impress his wife who was asked about Michelle Obama. “I’ve been real impressed,” she said. “I’ve been impressed about the First Lady, she stepped up and she’s done a remarkable job, and under the situation, they have done great.”

King then went on to point out that 12 percent of Americans (I find that utterly ridiculous) believe that Obama is a Muslim and that 35 percent say they don’t know what religion he is (which I think might be factual). He then asked Osteen if he thought that mattered.
“Well, it matters to me,” Mr. Osteen said. “It matters to me that I know he loves the Lord, and I think it’s important that he has convictions from his faith. So to me, it matters when I’m making my personal decisions.”
His wife agreed.
However, Osteen went on to promote his new Hope for Today Bible, saying, “It’s a living translation of the Bible, which is an easy version to read. And then it’s got our notes besides certain passages. And it’s just to help people maybe to understand the Bible a little bit easier.”

And just what will it help people understand easier? Apparently it won’t help in the area of marriage.
When asked if he thought more states would allow the redefinition of marriage to include sodomites, Osteen said, “You know, I don’t know where it’s all going … I’d love to see it stay between a male and a female, not knocking anybody else.”

Knocking anybody else? Why not? Jesus was clear about what marriage is and what it is not in Matthew 5 and Matthew 19. God was clear about it in Genesis 3. Why can’t Joel Osteen be clear? It’s because he’s a false teacher.
To be fair, at least his wife said, “I just think marriage should be sanctified by the church. It should be between a man and a woman.”

While Osteen said the “God’s best is between a male and female,” it seems that for both Osteens is all about “what they think” rather than what God says. That is the crux of the issue.
My friends, Joel Osteen is in the position he is in because the professed Church has not called people like him out and dealt with him biblically. It’s time the people of God start dealing with false teachers in a biblical manner.

In a pair of a heart-wrenching Facebook posts, the son of one
of the two NYPD officers killed in Saturday's apparent ambush paid
tribute to his slain father.


"This is the worst day of my life," Jaden Ramos, the 13-year-old son of Rafael Ramos, wrote.


"Today I had to say bye to my father," Jaden continued. "He was their
[sic] for me everyday of my life, he was the best father I could ask
for. It's horrible that someone gets shot dead just for being a police
officer. Everyone says they hate cops but they are the people that they
call for help. I will always love you and I will never forget you. RIP
Dad."

Jaden's Facebook posts have been shared more than 8,000 times.


Police say Rafael Ramos, 40, and his partner, 32-year-old Wenjian
Liu, were killed Saturday as they sat in their patrol car in Brooklyn by
a gunman who earlier in the day had announced on social media that he
planned to kill two "pigs" in retribution for the recent U.S. police
killings of two unarmed black men, Eric Garner and Michael Brown.


Authorities say the gunman, 28-year-old Ismaaiyl Abdullah Brinsley,
shot and wounded his girlfriend in Baltimore before traveling to New
York where he shot both officers. Brinsley fled the scene, ducking into a
nearby subway station where he shot and killed himself.


Hours earlier, police say, Brinsley warned on Instagram that he would be "putting wings on pigs today."


According to New York City Police Commissioner William Bratton, the
NYPD received a fax at 2:45 p.m. from Baltimore police alerting them of
Brinsley's threat, but it came too late. Brinsley opened fire on Liu and
Ramos at 2:47 p.m., Bratton said.


“Officer Liu and Officer Ramos never had the chance to draw their
weapons," Bratton said. "They may actually have never seen their
assailant, their murderer."


Earlier this month, Jaden Ramos posted a message on Facebook marking his father's 40th birthday.


"Happy birthday to the best dad in the world, you are always there
for me even when it's almost impossible," Jaden wrote on Dec. 9, tagging
his father in a family photo. "We have so many good times it's not even
funny, I love you so much."

Mark Levin is becoming increasingly disenchanted with the Republican
Party with their abandonment of principles, responsibility, country and
moral compass. They broke every rule in the book to pass the illegal
amnesty and whatever else might have been hidden in the omnibus spending
package and he’s had enough.


He begins his comments by asking, “What kind of party is this? What
does this party stand for? It stands for nothing. I told you before I
left last week, what John Boehner and Mitch McConnell and scores of
Republicans in the House and the Senate did. They disenfranchised you
and they undercut the incoming majority in the Senate.”


He continues, “The reason they wanted to push this massive, monstrous
spending bill through, and it is loaded with pork, ladies and
gentlemen, it would turn your stomach if you knew everything that was in
it; 1600 pages.”


Levin says, “Well, they wanted to get it through because it’s Obama’s
budget too. They’ve been working on it all summer long. And Boehner cut
his deal with Obama and McConnell cut his deal with Obama and all these
pathetic Republican sheep went along with it.”


“Sixty-seven Republicans in the House said no,” Levin reminds us, with another 18 no from the Senate being cast.


Levin notes that, “The overwhelming majority of Republicans in the
House and Senate voted for obamacare, voted for amnesty, voted to
violate the Constitution and violated their oaths of office, and
undermined the last election and undermined your franchise. None of this
was presented to you before you voted on the first Tuesday in November.
None of these people said that they are working on a massive spending
bill with Obama that will fund obamacare and whatever imperial amnesty
he executes. Not one.”


He adds, “The Republican Party had a big victory in the last
election, in spite of itself. Now it’s in the throes of destroying
itself. If a lifelong Republican like me, somebody who served in the
Reagan administration for two full terms, who worked in the ’76 and ’80
primary. Who ran for office as a kid, 19 year old and got elected to my
local school board as a Republican. I’m 57 and I’ve been a Republican
since the day I could vote. If somebody like me is saying I am one inch
away from resigning, I suspect there are hundreds of thousands of you
who feel exactly the same way.”

Levin closes vowing, “I will not participate in this scam. I will not
participate in the dissolution of this republic. I will not participate
in the propaganda machine that has become the Republican Party and its
mouthpieces and cheerleaders in the pseudo-conservative media, whether
it’s cable TV, or radio or websites. This budget was passed in the
House, with lie piled on lie.”

BORDERS – BOUNDARIES – GATES – FOUNDATIONS
The problem most belivers have is, they dont know how big their boundaries are. This is a season when the Lord is about to show you your boundaries. you will be surprized how big and broad they are. In seeing them you will be streched to understand how you can possess all the Lord has given you.


Recently when we were in Israel I observed an interesting event. We were in the Eliat area and you could see a reasonable amount of the border between Israel and Jordon from where we were. Obama had just been putting some pressure on Jordon regards the border (so called Palestinian state). In Jordon a huge dust storm arose, the unusual thing about this storm is that it defined the border between Jordon and Israel, the air was crystal clear on the Israeli side so it formed a line right along the boarder and out into the sea also defining Israeli territory. The Lord was making it clear where he saw the borders.

DUET 32:8 When the Most High assigned lands to the nations, when he divided up the human race; he established the boundaries of the peoples according to the number of angelic beings.

ACTS 17:24 from one man he created all the nations throughout the whole earth. He decided beforehand which should rise and fall and he determined their boundaries.

The problem most belivers have is, they dont know how big their boundaries are. This is a season when the Lord is about to show you your boundaries. you will be surprized how big and broad they are. In seeing them you will be streched to understand how you can possess all the Lord has given you.

Its time to strech your boundaries to the place the Lord has gifted you. Time to enlarge the place of your tent and strenghten your stakes (Isa 54). Also a time to rest in what he has given you.Striving outside your boundaries only brings war thats not yours to fight. Ask the Lord to define your boundaries today.

I’ve also been pondering the absolute necessity for obedience which opens gates or portals into the realm of heaven. The opposite is also true, that disobedience opens portals into the enemy’s realm. I saw a good example of this in Israel also. The tribe of Dan was allocated land in the area around modern day Tel Aviv, like all the other tribes they were commanded to go in possess and subdue the land. They chose not to and instead went and possessed land in the far north of Israel, Dan’s disobedience is what really led Israel off into Idolatry. Tel Dan is the area Jeroboam, one of Israel’s most wicked kings set up an altar to Baal and made the northern tribes go and worship there instead of Jerusalem, The area of Dan became the place where Pan Worship developed during Greek and Roman times it became known as the gates of hell. The same place where Jesus said “I will build my Church and the gates of Hell shall not prevail against it” Even to this day there is a propensity to have lucky charms and items with the eye of Oris on it in the area of Dan. So, one act of un-repented disobedience can have generational impact. The same way one act of obedience will have generational impact.

If you look at the life of David he opened both good and bad portals all of them were carried on by his son Solomon. Israel grew under Solomon because David started a process, The temple and pure worship was introduced in Solomon’s reign, but David’s weakness for a pretty face was accelerated in Solomon. This eventually caused the kingdom to be split and the northern tribes lost.

No ones perfect, and we all have issues handed down, but in Jesus we have been given a way to break off the disobedience of generations past. Through His blood we can turn generational disobedience around, close old portals and open a new one into the heavenly realm. The thing that remains very clear to me is that if these portals are not closed, the issues will raise their head in our lives and ministries. I’m not suggesting going on a witch hunt to find stuff but when the Holy Spirit asks for change or action we need to act quickly.

This leads me to the main point, when we were in Turkey the question arose, how could a nation that was almost entirely Christian become so barren in Christian life? It soon became obvious, Paul and the other Apostles opened huge portals of apostolic authority and within two years the entire region had been impacted. This apostolic foundation was continued for 300 years and growth continued, Antioch & Ephesus became the mission sending centre of the world. The foundation was still Apostolic and the Church was very Hebrew in its thinking. Then in 326AD the church shifted from Apostolic power to the council of men. The first council in Nicea expelled all Jews and divorced the church from Jewish thinking. The second council in Ephesus introduced the worship of Mary, the very seat of Diana worship became the place worship of Mary was introduced. Other councils ( 7 in total) introduced Icon worship and other abominations, thus the doors opened by the Apostles were closed and doors to the demonic were wide open. Thus Turkey and the Church were plunged into darkness within 200 years.

The Church has been in a state of recovery for several centuries now and there is still a way to go. The pattern for how the church is supposed to look is in Heaven. we declare “As it is in heaven so shall it be on earth” we are declaring a vision of foundations, boarders, boundaries & gates. In Revelation 21 there is a vision of the new Jerusalem. How it looks in heaven and what we are declaring on earth.

Revelation 21:10-14
So he took me in spirit to a great, high mountain, and he showed me the holy city, Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God. It was filled with the glory of God and sparkled like a precious gem, crystal clear like jasper. Its walls were broad and high, with twelve gates guarded by twelve angels. And the names of the twelve tribes of Israel were written on the gates. There were three gates on each side—east, north, south, and west. The wall of the city had twelve foundation stones, and on them were written the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.

It was filled with the Glory of God; this is what we are looking for, “as it is in heaven so shall it be on earth”

Its foundations are the twelve Apostles, in other words the foundation laid by the apostolic is our foundation as well. The Church has been in a period of darkness because its been operating on the foundation of the council of men.
Its time to repent and bring the wrong from the council of men under the blood of Jesus and into apostolic authority.

Apostolic confronts, Paul in Acts 19 is a good example of apostolic confrontation of spiritual powers, he took on Artemus (Diana) and won. He closed a portal and opened a new one. Peter opened a portal for the gentiles at Cornelius house, Philip opened a door into transportation and so on. The whole Church is called to operate from this apostolic foundation.
Apostolic releases the power of Heaven Acts 2 showed us the intention of the Holy Spirit in building his church,. There’s no sickness suffering or sorrow in heaven and the apostolic foundation released this on earth. Nothings changed

Apostolic released woman contrary to popular belief the apostolic released woman into leadership and the fullness of the power of God.

Apostolic releases us into fellowship and feasting Our celebration went from ritual and form into fellowship and celebration.

Apostolic released a Kingdom on earth Jesus declared it and the apostles released it. To the point that within 200 years the world was a different place. Kings and princes yielded to the King of kings.

There is a whole book in here but I hope you get the drift. The council of men took the apostolic authority and said only a few men have power, when in actual fact the apostolic foundation allows all believers to move in this power.

This is the season to walk again on the foundation, not to lay new ones but to release the original plan. Push aside all the rubbish the council of men has bought in over the centuries and move forward by stepping back into the perfect plan.

The gates in Revelation are the 12 tribes (less Dan but plus Levi) The Nicea council put out the Jews but God still has them in the gates of the eternal city.
According to Romans 11 the gentiles are grafted into the root stock which is Israel. Romans 11:15 says “the acceptance of the Jews is life from the dead”
He says that if braches were broken off to allow gentiles (wild olives) to be grafted in how much easier is it to graft back in the true branches. We are coming into a season when the church will again recognise her Jewish roots, start thinking Jewish and not Greek and walk in the favour of the God of Abraham.

Jewish thinking sees every aspect of life as spiritual, Greek thinking separates natural and spiritual, therefore if you think like Greeks there are no consequences for our natural actions. Hebrew thinking however would see everything as having a consequence. There is an end time thinking that is about to be released into the Church again. For nearly 1650 years the church has been thinking like Greeks. There is a call to repent for our acceptance of the Nicene councils expulsion of the Jews. Its time to see Romans 11:15 fulfilled in our time.

There is a Messianic move happening in Israel it’s exciting and it’s a signal that we are entering a new season. When the former (Jews) and latter (gentile church) come together. Its life from the dead, its resurrection glory.

The Holy Spirit is calling us to come as one new man in Messiah moving in apostolic foundations and gates of glory. In order to do this we must move from old ways and thinking and allow this reformation to be activated in our lives. This may require repentance from mindsets and attitudes that stop us seeing the heavenly pattern.

Rev 21 It was filled with the glory of God and sparkled like a precious gem, crystal clear like jasper. Its walls were broad and high, with twelve gates guarded by twelve angels.

This is what the Church is about to look like, reformation is at hand things are about to shift and change. This is Life from the dead.

Zabrina Reyes. wins $100,000 Dr. Pepper scholarship

SAN FRANCISCO — Zabrina Reyes of San Diego threw 11 passes into an oversized Dr. Pepper can Saturday, December 6 during halftime of the Southeastern Conference (SEC) Championship Game at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta.

As a result of her throwing accuracy, the University of California -San Diego freshman was awarded $100,000 towards her college tuition.

Reyes revealed that she entered the competition prepared. It was reported that she had built a replica target and practiced three times a week for an entire month. She was even deft enough to grab two footballs at a time from the rack with one in each hand, cutting down her motion time.
“I felt like I could have practiced more, but I guess it was enough,” said a modest Reyes, one of 16 finalists picked out of over 1,700 participants.
Reyes, who is studying arts and sciences, was emotional after the victory, bursting in tears in front of the nationally televised audience. She said the prize money would take some weight off of her and her parents’ shoulders, and that it would “lessen the financial burden,” allowing her to concentrate on her studies.
“I just started crying, that’s all I could do,” Reyes said in a telephone interview via a video story on CBN News 8 with Matt Johnson.
She thanked the soft drink company for the opportunity to participate in the event then thanked her family and friends in both San Diego and Philippines for their support. Many on social media were so impressed with her passing skills that they called for Reyes to play quarterback for their favorite college football team.
“Out of my three sisters I’m like the least athletic, so it’s pretty funny,” said Reyes, who saw the tweets directed her way and admitted the most quarterbacking she would be doing in the future is maybe playing a little toss out in the yard.
In Reyes’ profile page for the contest, she said she would like to “cure ignorance,” “redefine abnormal” and has “always had an itch to understand the people around me.” Part of the scholarship money will also go towards funding school for her younger sister.
